I actually didn't hate Nightmare in Silver as much as I did the first time I watched it after I gave it a re-run. But the episode suffers from one problem above all others...
THE KIDS!!!! ESPECIALLY THE GIRL OHH GODDDDD!!!!!
They built it up as a scary story. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt until I saw the end of The Crimson Horror where it shows the kids are going to be in next weeks episode. From that point, I knew they were screwed.
