Just like films the music to a game can drag you even more into the world of the game you are playing. Some songs or original pieces of music can give you an emotional bond to the whole experience. When i hear certain songs it reminds me of driving through Vice City with the sun setting in the background or smashing my face of the side of a swimming pool in Tony Hawks.
