The word legend get thrown around a lot when a musician or an actor dies but it's very rarely the actual case. People feel it's a fitting tribute to call someone a legend in death but when they were alive people knew or cared little about them it just gets said out of habit. But Lemmy is an actual Legend.
Growing up the appeal of Metal and Rock music was the element of danger involved that's what grabbed me first people that were not just playing the music but living the music it felt real not an act. As time has gone on Metal and Rock has become watered down people posing on stage and then sitting back stage sipping on tea or sparkling water. Lemmy on the other hand sang it played it and lived it. There was no lie with Lemmy he was his own man doing it all his own way. While other hellraisers of Metal and Rock got older and mellowed out it was Lemmy that kept the danger and spirit of rock alive and real right up until the end.
Lemmy a true Legend not once in a life time but once ever.
