It seems to me that found footage films fall into two categories
1) Those that are unwatchable due to the fact that they feature footage from surveillance cameras, which are boring, stationary shots where noting happens for minutes on end, such as the 'Paranormal Activity' films
2) Those that are unwatchable due to the fact that the person holding the camera is hyperactive, resulting in nausea-inducing fast shots that are out-of-focus, amateurish and not actually showing anything, such as 'The Blair Witch Project' and 'August Underground' etc
These might be good films, but I'm afraid I cannot watch them!
The ones I
do like would be the ubiquitous 'Cannibal Holocaust', 'C'est arrivé
près de chez vous' (pretentious? Moi?) and 'Diary Of The Dead' but other that those, I would struggle to name ones I enjoyed
