I know I'll be in the minority, but I consider
Carrie to be one of DePalma's weaker films, with the source material by King being far superior to the film in my opinion (I think the novel being a well-thumbed fave of mine growing up may have a lot to do with this). Still, it's a film I still enjoy and will be getting the standard edition when it hits the sales to replace my old MGM DVD.
