Since all the Sound City tracks are basically only on the £70 edition I can listen to those on iTunes anyway
However, saying that you can't tell that album has been remastered by listening it on streaming is nonsense
In most cases you can definately tell. Take Hysteria as an example, or on the other side of the spectrum, In The Nightside Eclipse!!
