I've stayed a week on Lake Garda and there's plenty to do in the area. Small towns to visit, vineyards etc. Plus it's not far from Verona which is a beautiful old city with a stunning little amphitheater. If you do visit Verona i guarantee you
Letters to Juliet will become your new favourite chick flick.
As for Venice? Well lets say i don't think you need more than a day there. I know people who have gone off the beaten track and said it's a great city though.
