Fitzcarraldo 1982.
Brian Fitzgerald chases a dream of building a opera house in the Amazonian Jungle.
Another film collabaration from Klaus Kinski and Werner Herzog, based on the true story of Carlos Fermin who was known as the Rubber Baron in the late 19th centuary who died at the age of 30.
With Kinski being able to take direction very well and get into character or just be very unpredictable with confinded areas helped this film move well. Filmed in the Amazon Jungle, the film is shot with amazing scenery and a great soundtrack. Behind the scenes there was problems, Kinski having temper tantrums that an extra offered to murder him, a plane crash and Herzog driving a boat during rapids that three people were hurt. This is a decent movie to see. 8 out of 10.
