We can't really comment on the source material for any of the other Blu-ray releases that exists, but our release is exceptional in that it comes direct from the actual producers in Italy, from which a completely new HD encode was made

We also have two brand new extras, one a fascinating interview with producer Gianni Romoli and one with SFX genius Sergio Stivaletti, who talks through the film's stunning practical effects

The new encode provides much more colour depth, more detail and of course a higher bit rate meaning better blacks in the film's many night sequences
