BUT, there was a little bit left of good ol' Pompey (including VUE, which was lucky) after the rampage of the Trump monster (heh, sounds like sommat a five year owld'd invent) so The Daughter of Darkness and I saw the Blockbuster EPIC of the year! It was a bit meh until about a third of the way through but, boy, did it pick up!! If you're hard of hearing you won't need the old ear trumpet and if you aren't hard of hearing you will be for a couple of minutes after! I loved the sight and sound mega spectacle that this movie creates. I really wasn't expecting to see the "man-in-a-suit" effect of the great old movies but there was a nod to that in some of the mannerisms shown by the CGI Godzilla. I'm a long time Big G fan and this is the best I have seen in a long time. 325/10

Also loved the reworking of the BOC "Godzilla" song. 125/10 for that too. that makes a grand total of 65000/10 (maths was never my strong subject, I'm more of a sit-in-the-corner-with-a-pointy-hat-on guy!
