Wax Mask is a prime example of how far the italian cinema had fallen, in the 90:s. One of the most disappointing films ever made...
It's just a complete mess.
The worst thing, is the over use of horrible CGI, that looked terrible even in 1997. Though, the CGI in Argento's productions, always sucked balls, even as late as his terrible version of Dracula.
It's too bad Fulci died before he could direct the movie, even though it still would have been mediocre, like most of his later films. But even a bad Fulci movie, is far more entertaining than this piece of shit.
Still, it looks like a solid release, for the fans of the film.
