"The BBC has revealed its line-up of films for Christmas Day and Boxing Day and it's sure to be a hit with Disney fans.

When the Christmas presents are open and the food has been eaten, families will be able to sit in front of the TV on Christmas Day to watch Finding Dory on BBC One.

The Pixar animation is the sequel to Finding Nemo and sees US chat show host Ellen DeGeneres resume her voice role of Dory, the forgetful tang fish hunting for her parents.

There will be more animal magic on Boxing Day, when Paddington 2 will make its premiere on mainstream TV

Aside from the animations, the BBC's festive film schedule also includes Beauty and the Beast, starring Emma Watson, and Alice Through the Looking Glass, with Johnny Depp and Anne Hathaway."

Also announced for the festive period are:
  • Call The Midwife Christmas Special
  • Miranda: My Such Fun Celebration
  • Gavin And Stacey Christmas Special
  • EastEnders
  • A Christmas Carol
  • Dracula
  • The Trial Of Christine Keeler
  • Snail And The Whale
