After earning his 00 Status,James Bond is sent to Montenegro in a high stakes poker game to defeat a private banker who funds terrorism.
This is defiantly one of the best James Bond films and a personnel favourite of mine, when it was announced Daniel Craig was stepping in for the reboot of the franchise and he was giving some criticism hope those who did were knocked out of their shoes. He has the acting abilities, looks and charm to go with the role and the British secret service agent.
Mads Mikkelsen plays private banker Le Chiffre (The Figure) who looses a lot of money in a terrorist plot and seeks to make the money quick and creates the ultimate high poker game. Jeffery Wright plays the C.I.A. agent Felix Leiter who is also in the game but bleeds out chips a bit quick. Eva Green plays the treasury financier Vesper Lynd who brings beauty and brown eyes to the film. Judi Dench returns as M who feels after giving Bond his status he may be a loose cannon by blowing up a embassy to get one bomb maker. Giancarlo Gianni makes a appearance as Bond and Lynd's contact who has been monitoring Le Chiffre who has people in his pocket including the chief of police.
Right from the start to finish i was hooked on this with the perfect cinematography by Phil Meheux with the free jumping from building to crane with Sebastian Foucan who done his own stile of jumps and stunts. To me this wasn't a Bond film at first it was more action thriller with some good tension built up within the game but still a good way to make a first impression, even though the jokes were toned down some of the quotes were good.
