I used to love comics as a kid, but haven't read many for years, apart from the odd Graphic novel, Watchmen/ Batman etc.
A while back i had a nostalgia trip and got all the original Scream comics, then last year i got 2 others i liked as a kid, Teen Titans and Creature Commandos.
They make decent toilet reading and are a welcome break when you need something a bit different and less heavy, i particularly like the 70's/ 80's style of drawing i grew up with.
Anyway i noticed a Zavvi offer of 10 graphic novels for £20, it was a small selection and all DC, but i fancied the 2 below and thought why not, so grabbed 8 others i thought sounded ok.
My Grandson is into Superheroes at the moment, he's a bit young for reading these but i figure he can read them when he's older.

Also got-
Wonder woman - Gods and mortals
Wonder woman - Eyes of the gorgon
JLA - Another Nail
JLA - Act of God
Catwoman - Trial of the Catwoman
Green Lantern - Revenge of the Green Lanterns
Green Lantern / Green Arrow - Hard travelling heroes
Superman / Batman - Generations
So a bit of a mix of DC superheroes, I've already got Batman The Killing Joke and Arkham Asylum so i wanted some other heroes.
JLA (Justice League) bungs together a load of different heroes together so i'm up for that.
I tried mostly to go for complete stories.
The stories are from all over the years, so a mix of styles as well.
Thats a lot of art and somebody's hard work for £20.
