Tone poses as a recently deceased waiter and attempts to infiltrate Rommel's inner circle and report his battle plans to the Allies.
A real twisty turny film and well worth a watch. Von Stroheim is excellent as Rommel and Franchot Tone proves very adaptable in a role that i won't spoil but involves agents and double agents galore. |
