Cthulhu Mansion (1992, JP Simon)
Lovecraftish from the man who brought us
Pieces?
Sadly tis a bit damp, even with the Frank Finlay at the front and centre of it all. A Melanie Shatner also appears, wonder whose bairn she could be COUGH?
Avoid.
Steelmanville Road (2017, Nigel Bach)
Ever inherited anything? Did it end well? FF.
A young couple land on their feet when they acquire a bleedin' mansion (not quite haha) through serendipity. Strange stuff starts to happen. If it hadn't been for the sassy medium, I might have turned this one off, as it brought nowt new to the table. Apparently the prequel to something called Bad Ben? I'm sure I've seen that cough. Tbh the last
decent one was
Savageland (recommended), so I may give the shakycam a rest for a while.
