THE HEAD HUNTER
Released 12th April
This April, 2018's THE HEAD HUNTER comes to Blu-ray. A handsomely shot, atmospheric and gory medieval horror, our Blu-ray contains two commentaries from the filmmakers and a 'making of' featurette.
On the outskirts of a kingdom, in the shadows of a looming castle, a quiet but fierce medieval warrior protects the realm from monsters. The gruesome collection of trophy heads on the wall of his cabin is missing only one - the monster that killed his daughter. He travels wild expanses on horseback, driven by a thirst for revenge. When his chance for vengeance arrives, it's in a way far more horrifying than he ever imagined.
Blu-ray Special Features

UNCLE PECKERHEAD
Released 3rd May
In May we're releasing the uproariously bloody UNCLE PECKERHEAD! Part insane road-trip comedy, part rock concert, part unimaginable gore-fest, Uncle Peckerhead has midnight movie written all over its bloody mangled corpse. Available on Blu-ray and across digital platforms from 3rd May, the Blu-ray includes a cast commentary and the short film Larry Gone Demon.
Punk outfit DUH are about to embark on their first tour in preparation for a big hometown show. Only problem is they don’t have any wheels. Luckily, they run into a nice southern redneck, Peckerhead or “Peck” to his friends, who just happens to live in a 15-passenger van. He is more than happy to be their roadie and merch guy if they throw him a few bucks and cover gas. What could be the harm? However, Peck has a secret he is keeping: if he doesn’t take his medicine before midnight, he turns into a cannibalistic monster.

And a reminder about the latest addition to the 101 Films Black Label...

Released 26th April
Also on 26th April we're releasing cult 80s horror SPOOKIES (1986) on Blu-ray for the first time in the UK, title 019 on the 101 Films Black Label. Produced by Michael Lee, founder of legendary video distributor VIPCO, the film's tumultuous production history saw original co-writers/directors Brendan Faulkner and Thomas Doran and co-writer/producer Frank M. Farel fired, and Eugenie Joseph brought on board to shoot new scenes and re-edit the existing footage. The chaotic and deranged result has gone on to amass an army of devotees in the intervening years, attaining genuine cult status among horror fans. Among the additional content is a new version of feature-length documentary VIPCO: The Untold Story
