I think it's my favourite of the mid period Carpenter films, very tense and atmospheric, spooky visuals and an interesting plot involving pre-christianity evil!

Also Alice Cooper spears some poor scientist through the belly with a rusty old bike frame!

Read a review last night by someone calling it a 'Diet The Thing' and wondered if they watched the same film as me... they only scored it 3 stars so they obviously don't know what they're talking about
Nobody appreciates a good classic horror these days Justin, rating a film like that a 3 they may aswell slapped Carpenter in the face.
