Some are out of English Gothic's 'borderline' section. I'm relying on Jonathan Rigby as I haven't seen a lot of those listed in that section.
Personally, I prefer to have a broad definition of horror and include as many dark thrillers as possible. Often these are the ones that are the most twisted and sleazy. I don't like to think I'm missing out
