The measure of a show isn't necessarily built on viewing figures, but how effective that show is in developing memorable storylines. In Imposter Who's case it's a vessel without a crew with no real sense of purpose, other than promoting what Auntie beeb wants. The UK ratings system has always been like the State posting the monthly jobless figures. Sounds good on paper, but statistics have always been easy to inflate to justify a supposed success story. What was the old saying...
"Lies, damned lies, and statistics" spring to mind.
