That's true. It's different from
The Dead Zone (screenplay by Jeffrey Boam) and
M. Butterfly (play and screenplay by David Henry Hwang) because Cronenberg wrote the screenplay, so
Naked Lunch is similar to
Crash (based on J.G. Ballard's novel) in that respect.
