Today it would be half a bullshit green screen cartoon and the crew wouldn't have left the back lot at Universal. Blu-ray has really brought the magic of real film making to life and seeing all these older films is pure joy. The ones made today look so fake. |
It really is a great thriller and one of my favourite Clint Eastwood films. As you say, if made today the majority of the climbing scenes would be created using green-screen and CGI. Modern Hollywood misses the point entirely.
