Ocean's Thirteen
After the abomination that was Ocean's Twelve, this is a much welcome Sequel to Ocean's Eleven. They are back in Vegas in order to get revenge on Al Pacino who screwed over one of their own. I found this to be a really enjoyable easy watch with Pacino excelling as a slimy Casino Owner. Pacino is reunited with his Sea Of Love co-star Ellen Barkin. Basil The Great Mouse Detective
Disney's spin on Sherlock Holmes which see's a Mouse named Basil try to find a kidnapped Toymaker. As with most Disney Animation Films, the Villain is always the best character and this one has the maniacal and egotistical Ratigan (Who's a Rat but doesn't like being called one) and his henchcat. This is one of my favorite Disney Animation Films and one of it's most under-rated (By some)
They don't make them like this anymore Nuts
Barbara Streisand is a woman accused of Murder who goes to Court in order to proof she is Sane. Richard Dreyfuss is her Legal Aid Attorney who tries to assist her. This is a powerful Film with great performances from it's leads. TBH, I wasn't aware this was actually released on DVD but it was a pleasant find in CEX (Really cheap as well) Empire Of Light
Drama centered around Olivia Coleman who is a Cinema Employee in 1980 and experiences Mental Issues. She befriends a Black Employee, who experiences Racial Hatred. Tobey Jones is the friendly Projectionist. It's a good Film and wonder if Cinemas were like that in the 80's.
As this was released by Fox Searchlight, I highly doubt it sees a DVD/Blu-Ray release. Fracture
Antony Hopkins shoots his Wife and confesses but is able to outsmart Prosecuting Lawyer played by Ryan Gosling. This is a good intelligent Thriller without being complicated and twists that aren't stupid. It does have an excellent supporting Cast which includes Rosemond Pike and David Straitharn
