The flip side, of course, is that a lot of the things that were happily being screened on afternoon and early evening television back in the 60's and 70's would never be allowed today. Examples would be things like 'Doctor Who' [Leela throwing her knife in 'The Robots Of Death', the drug references in 'The Talons Of Weng Chiang', the Nazi imagery in 'Genesis Of The Daleks', the pure body horror of 'The Ark In Space' and 'The Seeds Of Doom' etc], the public information safety films that were shown in schools, 'The Children Of The Stones', Worzel Gummidge removing his head, 'The Singing Ringing Binging Plinging Tinging Plinking Plonking Boinging Tree' and so on
