I know it has its detractors, but I really like Switchblade Romance/Haute Tension, a compelling watch which, like Frontier(s) is appropriately brutal.
Both are long overdue another viewing. |
Haute Tension was good although not as good as the book it apparently wasn't based on by Dean Koontz, but i found
Frontier(s) disappointing. I expected more in the violence stakes from French horror after seeing the brilliant
Inside from the same year.
Like you i haven't seen either in years. Once you know the revelation of
Haute Tension it kind of kills it a little. Could rewatch
Frontier(s) this week. See what i think of it now.
