I know it has its detractors, but I really like Switchblade Romance/Haute Tension, a compelling watch which, like Frontier(s) is appropriately brutal.

Both are long overdue another viewing.
Haute Tension was good although not as good as the book it apparently wasn't based on by Dean Koontz, but i found Frontier(s) disappointing. I expected more in the violence stakes from French horror after seeing the brilliant Inside from the same year.

Like you i haven't seen either in years. Once you know the revelation of Haute Tension it kind of kills it a little. Could rewatch Frontier(s) this week. See what i think of it now.
