That reminds me of Nirvana at the MTV Video Music Awards in 1992 when they wanted to play Rape Me but were told they couldn't under any circumstances.
Although they didn't play the song, it didn't stop Kurt Cobain from having a bit of fun with the audience and MTV execs!
