With the rape scenes being re edited with senic veiws, the remake will probably appeal to most of the new breed of horror fans who never saw the original.
I'll have some 12 year old in Zavvi telling me to buy the new one as its 'torture porn' and much stronger than the original .
And sadly , with the state the original UK version of ISOYG is in, he'll probably be right.
ANGEL, if a contraversal film is remade and the original is re released, would the BBFC be more lenient with previous cuts so a fair comparison can be made on both directors pieces of the same work by a new generation of veiwer .?
