That top one I've never seen. The bottom one is pony. I think the one used for our quad and by Warner Home Video in the UK is the best one.

Another ****ed up opportunity......and at only $289!

Yeah,Warner really went to town with their new releases.
I also recall when Octopussy was out and A View To A Kill got the same fanfare.
But if I remember right, those fantastic posters for AVTAK were changed for this rather cool video sleeve....

I like this age a lot, unlike the US one-sheet (which is featured in the quad above) too. Shit, I'll admit it, I really like the film! It's one of the most cussed but I have a real fondness for it!

Lovely!

Although it weren't an official Bond,or whatever the farago about it was,it was one of the most entertaining romps.

$289? F***ing he'll! I got one of those in a job lot the other day but I won't be swayed to sell it. Firmly staying put in my own collection.

You can actually get it for £20 Reaps. The Hong Kong blu-ray is identical to the extortionate US disc.

There's a book, The Battle for Bond, which reveals the story behind how it came to he and the second remake, WARHEAD 2000, almost made it into production. Well worth a read it is.

Grace Jones...Maud Adams.....who's gonna start a Bond babe thread?

Paul@TheOverlook 6th December 2012 10:08 PM

I had a fair few of the Bonds in big Warner boxes. I imagine a full set, Dr No-A View to a Kill would look rather nice.
