Couldn't resist - bought it today along with Skyfall (to fill the gap at the end)

If Connery was in Her Majesy's Secret Service, would it be a better film?

Slightly, but as it stands, Lazenby did well, and it's one of, if not the best Bond movie.

It is a good film with an iconic ending. It's the sped up fight sequences which spoil it for me.

A few weeks back, I was read an interview where Denzel Washington remarked that He would like to play James Bond after Daniel Craig is done with the role.

That would be all kinds of wrong.

I'd like to see a blaxploitation Bond rip-off though!

Talking of the Bond 50th Blu-ray set and since I'm much too lazy at the moment to research it properly - are all the films uncut?

I've only ever seen 'Licence to Kill' on ITV so I dread to think how much was cut out there?

The only thing putting me off buying the set is not wanting those later Brosnan films in my collection...
