Personally I wouldn't mind another Adele track at all. I thought Skyfall had quite a very classic sounding and effective, Bond opening track. Surprisingly my least favourite opening track of recent years, is the Chris Cornell Casino Royale one. It's just a little bit dull imo.

This post is just wrong on every level.

the franchise went down hill after Roger Moore left, personally I don't give a shit if they never make another Bond flick EVER....

I tend to agree, though I do rather love License to Kill as a bit of a bloodsoaked 80s revenge thriller.

I really like Bond songs by Rita Coolidge, Carly Simon and Sheena Easton as well. Nothing wrong with the Adele track imo!

Licence To Kill, Tomorrow Never Dies and Casino Royale. I think it's safe to say that those 3 films are much better than A View To A Kill.

Much as I like Patrick Macnee, I personally think that AVTAK is probably the worst Eon Bond to date. Even John Glen's usually stalwart direction skills are incredibly tired and quite dull. It also has to be said that proceedings really aren't helped by Moore looking positively ancient and long past his prime. Much more OAP than 007.

I watched it 6 mths ago whilst the wife was at work. I wasn't very impressed when I saw it at the cinema either. John Glen's subsequent Dalton flicks were a significant improvement imho.
