Default James Bond Ultimate Edition DVDs

Two of my favourite Bond movies are The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill. The uncut version of the latter still isn't available on DVD (when the R2 UE's were first released there was an "UNCUT" icon seen on the front cover of the GoldenEye and Tomorrow Never Dies DVDs. But there wasn't one on the front cover of Licence to Kill, despite the 30 odd seconds previously cut put back in).

I was sure I read many, many years ago that there were two scenes filmed but not included in the film. The first is the raid on Wavekrest, when the remains of Killifer and the security guard in the maggot tray are found. The second is a dinner party for the Japanese businessmen hosted by Sanchez at his villa in Isthmus City, the night before he shows them round his drugs producing plant.

I found out at an autograph show in the last couple of years that they did film Felix and Della's wedding inside the church. I saw Priscilla Barnes and was shown a B & W photo of their wedding inside the church.

The Living Daylights UE DVD dosen't have the music video to the Pretenders' single If There Was A Man, which is played over the end credits.

I've been toying with the idea of buying the ultimate collection set now it's down to ?65. I've never been a huge James Bond fan, if I'm in the mood though there's nothing better. I have a few on VHS but haven't upgraded to DVD yet.

I've got all the ultimate editions on R2; previously had the Special editions on R1 - the UE's look stunning and there are great supplements. Definitely worth getting but do bare in mind that MGM/Fox are slowly releasing the series on Blu-ray, starting with seven titles in October. I shalln't be buying them again, as the SD DVDs look good enough.

Along with The Living Daylights and Licence to Kill there are other Bond movie UE DVDs I want to get but haven't for similar reasons. Moonraker has a deleted scene which isn't on the DVD (Drax has a meeting with this financial backers in the space shuttle launch room), The Man with the Golden Gun has a cut scene where Bond moves through some rocks where you can see some of the wreckage from his destroyed seaplane and A View to a Kill has a cut scene in which Q's robotic dog squirts something into the eyes of one of the dogs patrolling Zorin's seawater pumping station out of San Fransisco.
