So it's basically another silly Brosnan Bond?

I've never understood the love for Casino Royale. I have yet to see any other Craig Bond films (I'm not sure whether I really want to), but it just seemed like it was emulating the popularity of Bourne... it just didn't seem like a 'Bond' film to me.

Same here. Casino Royale was a desperate try to reboot the whole series - apart from a lovely-looking Eva Green, a poor CGI car crash, and a ridiculous ball torture scene, I don't remember shit.

Quantum of Solace is a modern (and pretty entertaining) action film - but a poor Bond movie. The editor should be feathered and tarred!

Skyfall, on the other hand, is a really good film. The last 30 minutes are brilliant, and Craig - for the first time - is a totally convincing Bond. Check this out, b_e, it's worth it!

Greetings!

I enjoyed Casino Royale, and maybe it's because I didn't see any other Bond movies before it (except for pieces of Brosnan Bonds on TV and I think parts of a Connery Bond on the TV as well.)

Though, I understand the Bond character well enough, I think. I liked how Craig didn't try to be all of the other Bonds, it was a re-imagining of the character. The same way an artist will cover a song. You don't try to sound like the other artist who did it first, you try to give your own twist.

Agreed, but you don't have to beat Bond's new and ice-cold attitude into the viewer, do you?

Do you mean the Aston Martin flipping in the road?

Its in the Guinness Book of Records for the most rolls (seven) in a single take.

Not bad for CGI.

The first hour is far from "another silly Brosnan Bond".

It looked crappy, sorry. So it was a real stunt? Even worse.
