Even though I love Predator, Commando, Total Recall, and The Terminator, it's got to be Sly for me.There's just something about Stallone that I find more likeable.

I still think FIRST BLOOD is Stallone's best film
never a fan of the ROCKY films
but Schwarzenegger is better imo

I'm the reverse of that, actually. I never saw the film at all until about a year or so ago and I quite liked it. It had that gritty and grimy 70's feel to it, which I liked it. I then went on to immediately watch 2 and 3 and thought they were dreadful.

But, for me, I find Arnie's films more enjoyable on the whole.

The original Rocky is a classic.

2,3 and 4 are entertaining cheese,5 is a disaster and Balboa was a fitting ending.

OK, Now I want to talk about Judge Dredd.
I am a HUGE fan of the comic book series published weekly in 2000AD since 1977. It's grity, dark, and very violent as well as putting a very entertaining satirical spin on popular culture.
Dredd is one of the most endearing comic book characters of all time and is hugely populare world over.
But this movie. THIS movie! Changed so god damn much of the given source material that it was almost un-forgivable.
There where some positives. Regulare villain Mean Machine Angel was brilliantly realised and the set pieces where excelent.
Everything else though fell flat on it's face, and was a slap to the 2000AD community at large. Bastards.

Me too and imo Stallone is simply a more versatile all-round performer. But ultimately both of the relevant action movie icons get my respect for their enduring popularity and impact they've had upon the genre.
