BANDITS FROM SHANTUNG.
A young and pre-fame Sammo Hung provides action choreography in addition to playing a supporting part on-screen in the 1972 Golden Harvest production Bandits from Shantung. Written and directed by Huang Feng (The Crimson Charm), the martial arts film is set in the Shantung province, where everyone fears the bandits of the Green Dragon Gang. Only a knight-errant named Yin Teh Yee (kung fu star Chang Yi) dares to stand up to them. When the Gang kidnaps Yin's lover Ling, Yin must employ his wits and swordsman skills to take down the notorious Gang and kill its leader (Pai Ying).

HAPKIDO.

During the Japanese occupation of Korea in the 1930s, open warfare breaks out between rival martial arts schools. A trio of Chinese students decide to retaliate, but retribution is swift and devastating. After their school is destroyed, the three are banished and return to China. With high hopes of starting their own school, the group is dismayed to find their local neighbourhood dominated by Japanese influence and the trio will need to use all their awesome Kung Fu skills to establish peace.

MR VAMPIRE III.

Returning to the period setting of the original Mr. Vampire, Mr. Vampire III again casts coolly charismatic Lam Ching Ying as a Taoist exorcist who must contend with the undead. However, his primary target this time out is not an undead hopping vampiure, but a witch (Wong Yuk Waan) who practices black magic and leads a gang of rowdy horse thieves! Simultaneously, another Taoist priest (Richard Ng Yiu Hon) comes to town with two friendly ghosts in tow, and uses his spectral buddies to trick unsuspecting people into paying him to exorcise them! When all of these forces collide, hijinks and harrowing circumstances occur, meaning that once again Lam Ching Ying and his entertaining Taoist crime fighting methods must be called into duty! Mr. Vampire III is more in the spirit of the original Mr. Vampire, and comes complete with the chills, thrills, and exciting action sequences that audiences have come to expect from the entertaining Mr. Vampire films!

BEACH OF THE WAR GODS.

One-Armed Swordsman Jimmy Wang Yu directs and stars in the 1973 period actioner Beach of the War Gods. Loosely inspired by real events, this classic fightfest is set in the late Ming Dynasty when the southern coast of China was constantly under threat by Japanese marauders. Loner swordsman Hsiao Feng arrives in the small coastal town of Litan just as it's under attack, and single-handedly dispels the aggressors with his lightning moves. The fight's far from over, however, as the Japanese vow to return in full force. With time running out, Hsiao Feng mobilizes and trains the villagers to brace for the final bloody battle.
One of the few films Wang Yu made with Golden Harvest, Beach of the War Gods is also one of the most classic from his post-Shaw Brothers era. Rallied by the familiar theme of fighting off the Japanese, the thin story provides a perfect vehicle for pure Wang Yu action. The final segment of the film in particular is a non-stop montage of action set piece after another as the entire village breaks out into an all-out fight zone, capped off with a climactic finale that holds up with the best of Wang's work.

OUTLAW BROTHERS

Get ready for an action-packed film following the exploits of two car thieves and the butt-kicking female police officer (Yukari Oshima),who is on their trail. Add in drug smugglers and the choreographed fight scenes with brooms, fans, wrenches and knives to make this a turbo-charged, high-octane, martial arts action film.

Nice line up and it's always even more fun if there's merchandise to buy.

Sounds like a cracking fest you got going there, mate. Too bad I'm on the wrong side of the south coast! Have fun and I hope you get a good turn out, mate.
