That would mean a new Cine Asia release and not a HKL re-issue.

Let´s hope they release some of their titles that were released only in the magazine.

i got that news about Cine-asia releasing the HKL titles through their news letter, very cool news.
@Stephen: that is a pretty kick ass limited release sleeve for G.O.D.

I have the contender release...

Yeah, I've got that one too, along with the normal 2-disc version and that limited edition sleeve version.

I really hope all of these Bruce Lee re-releases are going to be in HD as well. Otherwise I kind of dont see the point.

It would be great to see some of these titles in HD. I do think it's good that they're being re-released on dvd though, especially for some of the titles that are on ebay for ridiculous money.

The Digital Fix posted this in their news section:

"We asked a Cine Asia representative whether these re-releases were just like they sound (straight re-releases, the old HKL discs in new packaging) or if we can expect new restorations/transfers, new extras, and hopefully even Blu-ray versions of the classic films mentioned. The response was that they can’t answer right now as they have only just announced the deal but further details regarding the ‘Cine Asia presents HKL’ titles will be announced at a later date."

Without a doubt they need to release some early Jackie Chan films like Police Story etc on BD. They're all way overdue the HD upgrade.

Even if they release only dvds, if we´re talking not only re-releases, they could join the HKL extras with the ones from DD along with the print (ex- Police Story).

They no longer have the rights to Drunken Master, Sony do.
If they release HKL titles on blu ray lets hope its not just ports of the HK releases which are awful quality with messed up soundtracks (added sound fx).
