That is certainly a good deal. That was one of the HKL releases that I never bothered getting hold of though, due to the BBFC cuts.

Does anyone know if the Dutch releases are the same as the UK versions re. subtitles? I have noticed that some of the Dutch editions are still available for reasonable prices on ebay, and some of them even come in nice looking Metalpak editions.

I've also noticed that Amazon have pre-orders up for Fist of Fury 2 disc and The Prodigal Son released by Cine Asia on 4th July. This is great news, as the HKL edition of TPS is currently £74.99 on Amazon Marketplace!!

On the same day they also release former Premier Asia titles Ong Bak and Warrior King.

I know that at least some of the Dutch editions feature identical content to the UK editions, and therefore English subtitles, but I've no idea whether or not all of them do.

I've just checked out the New Police Story specs on Rewind and it looks like it is English dubs with Dutch subs. The NPS steelbook - released by Dutch Filmworks - is only about £4 on ebay, so I may just buy it anyway and pop my UK discs in there.

All HKL (UK/Dutch/Australian) editions have the same content...
The difference resides on the covers... some are different.

Do we know if these editions have a new print or is the old one?

I would like "Prodigal Son" just for the extras as the image quality on the HKL original edition was not the best and was "zoomed in". I had to buy the Fortune Star edition just for the beautiful quality of the print... As for the price on Amazon, does the extras on this edition justify my buy?

Just got burnt by this statement of the back cover of the newly released Fist of Fury.

"Brand new feature length audio commentary track from Hong Kong cinema expert Bey Logan"

...only to find out that is say exactly this on the old version as well
