Hong Kong Legends (HKL) Thread
I managed to get hold of all the other Bruce Lee flicks in the Hong Kong Legends series apart from this one, the "Platinum Edition" of "Game of Death". As a trade DVD I could offer a title of your choice from "Another World Entertainment". |

You'll be very lucky to pick this one up cheap now. Most of the HKL releases are pricy since they folded.

Bey Logan is the man when it comes to HK film commentaries. Settle for no other. HK Legends tried a few others, but they weren't in the same league when it came to woffle.

Fist Of Fury is probably my favourite Lee film and the HKL disc is superb. The WB 2-disc of Enter The Dragon features Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey on disc 2, which includes a 35 min uninterrupted restoration of Game Of Death - presenting the full surviving footage as Lee would have intended. Fascinating stuff. |

Thanks for that, Vince, as I have the "Enter the Dragon" 2 discer, but haven't watched the 2nd disc so far. I just wish that Bey Logan could have done the ac for that one, as the "producer's commentary" ranks as one of my most dire ac-experiences...ever! |

Doesn't "A Warrior's Journey" contain footage from "Game Of Death" not used in the cinema release? It's been a while since I watched that as the footage is shown in full on the HKL release.
