Would you believe that I've never seen Pink Cadillac? For some unknown reason I was always too embarrassed to watch it.

It has a bad reputation because its not a Dirty Harry film or a great western. Clint plays a bail bondsman on the trail of a girl. A girl who is also on the run from her husband and his neo Nazi cronies because she has stolen all their counterfeit money. The film spirals on from this set up. Its good fun really. Clint made four films in the period of 1988 -90. Of the four White Hunter, Black Heart is the best, but PC is much better than the Clint by numbers efforts of The Rookie and The Dead Pool. |

Any fans of City Heat out there? I have only seen it once and was really disappointed by it, considering the cast it should have been a whole lot better. |

It's one of his "ok but forgettable" films, I've seen it twice, apart from Burt Reynolds can't remember anything about it. But that's as nothing compared to the "woman 1/4 of his age going weak at the knees when they meet" Idea, Clint's not alone in this Hollywood stupidity, but it gets ridiculous when the guy's in his 70s. Imagine Harry Potter trying to pull Vera Lynn.

Sorry Prince, in my eyes Sudden Impact is worse than The Dead Pool. I really have a dislike for scrawny whiny Sondra Locke (in all his films). Just as a footnote - A bad Clint film is still better than a great Michael Bay film. No film made by Clint has ever sunk to the depths of Transformers. |
