All this talk of big Clint has made me yearn for some of his dvds I regretfully sold a while back.....so just bought a few of them again from ebay. ABSOLUTE POWER, TRUE CRIME and BLOOD WORK should be with me soon.

You sold Clint films? Shame on you.

True Crime is a bit dull, especially when James Woods isn't in it.

Absolute Power is a pretty good film, Blood Work is also enjoyable.

I know! I'm rectifying it I picked up those three because I found them with the original artwok and not the crappy re-released covers.

Default 35 Year Box Set Question

Saw this cheap in a second hand shop but couldn't tell from a quick look at the box if the features have any commentaries on them? Also no book but was that only on the US edition?

Unfortunately Clint films tend to be devoid of features. Please someone correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think Clint has ever done a commentary track.
There are a few basic docs on some releases, nothing to get excited about though. The Eastwood factor is not too bad.

The individual releases of Unforgiven and Bridges of Madison County both have chat tracks by Eastwood's historian Richard Schickel.

I would guess Warners have just thrown all their current releases into one box set.

If you saw it cheap and don't already own the films, then why are you still reading this?

Extras or not I guess its a bargain for £20 so will grab it later if its still on the shelf! Apparently it has a couple of films that weren't included on the US version

Just indulged in Sudden Impact. Sondra Locke suffers a LOT of abuse in this one! She is irritating though. Other than Eastwood's films I don't think I've ever seen her in anything else
