The Foreigner (2017, Martin Campbell) When restauranter Quan's daughter is killed in a terrorist attack, he stops at nothing in order to get answers. Nothing. Basically a riff on Taken, this is a solid wee actioner. Yes, I noticed some CGI this time around, and there are faint echoes of his more comic side, but I'll rewatch this again.

Fantasy Mission Force (1983, Yen-Ping Chu) Madness. To say that it takes place in 1944 is the least of it JC does his level best to injure himself yet again. SBU. A plucky band of no hopers fend off an encroaching enemy, that "one last time" in extremis cough. Recommended. Entertaining on that HK level of sheer disbelief of what you've just witnessed real humans enact for the sake of cinema Ahem.
