I have around 100+ Shaw Brothers movies in my collection.

I have started to get back into watching them recently and have started buying the dvd's again as there is such a large catalog of titles that i have never seen.

I am just sorting out my movie collection as it has been packed away in boxes for the last year and will post some photos in the next few weeks as have over 500 Hong Kong movies in my collection as have been buying them since i purchased a dvd player back in 1997.

Just finished watching LEGENDARY WEAPONS OF CHINA, the last 25 mins are just fantastic and it makes me sad that the "Pops" is no longer with us. At least we still have him preserved on film however. No Shaw collection should be without this movie.
Also today watched FOUR RIDERS, with David Chiang, Ti Lung, Chen Kwan Tai, Wong Chung and directed by the great Chang Cheh. Set just after the end of the Korean war, our heroes must face off against Yasuaki Kurata and his gang, culminating in a bloody fight to the death in a gymnasium.

Latest Shaw purchases are

FIVE SHAOLIN MASTERS
THE RESCUE
JUDGEMENT OF AN ASSASSIN
THE BLOODY ESCAPE
TRILOGY OF SWORDSMANSHIP
THE JADE RAKSHA
SWORDSMAN AND ENCHANTRESS
VALLEY OF FANGS

Yes it is great that we are finally getting Shaw Brothers films released in the UK again and even though i have the four announce titles already in my collection i will be supporting 88 Films and double dipping on them.

If you check on the 88 Films website it lists the first letters of releases 5-8 of the upcoming 88 Asia titles. My guess for no 8 is Seeding of a Ghost.
