I watched Sting of the Dragon Masters last night. Its stars Angela Moa (my new favourite martial arts star) and has Sammo Hung playing a bad guy.

The DVD I have is really bad quality (its from the Deadly China Doll 3 disc box set with Dance of Dead and Moonlight Sword and Jade Lion), it looks like its been taken from VHS, it has tonnes of scratches and other damage. Also it only has English dub and for some crazy reason it has hard locked English sub as well.

That aside though it's a really fantastic film. There's tonnes of martial arts action (some of it is a tiny bit clunky but mostly its fast paced and excellently shot) and the story awesome and goes at a decent pace so never gets boring.

I would really love to see a cleaned up version of this film, with original language.

Never seen this one. Hopefully Fortune Star will put it out if it's a Harvest.

The abuse Dom DeLuise was put through by Burt Reynolds, slapping him at every mistake is quite sad, yet at the same time, quite funny. You can tell they must've been really close for Dom to put up with it.

It was after Jackie did this film that he decided to put outtakes on all his HK movies also!

I would really like a better quality copy of this and the one I have is really, really awful. Unfortunatly, I dont have the money spare to buy any dvds atm, which is a shame as it's an awesome flick.

Imo Winners And Sinners remains one of Sammo Hung's funniest films.

Some sporadic action from Jackie Chan with even less from Yuen Biao but two of the most achingly amusing fights i've ever seen. The first taking place in bad guy James Tien's mobster-packed mansion and later on in a warehouse with Sammo and the rest of the Lucky Stars gang battling it out with the above villain's minions led by a Marc Bolan-permed Chong Fat and slicked-back Dick Wei.

Also, what about Jackie's chaotic motorway Rollerskate ride inspired i suspect, by Frank Spencer's similar ordeal in a classic episode of Some Mothers Do 'Ave 'Em?

Lastly, Charlie Ching's humorous attempts to charm the ladies and his two subsequent side-splitting 'stance-offs' with opponents in the aforementioned fight scenes.

Great stuff!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was great. Had a old school material arts vide. and the bbfc cutting the nun chuck scene is funny. Some great fighting scenes too. It wouldn't be the same nowadays, or the turtles would be bright green cgi
