I'm not going to say it will change your life for the better if you'd seen more JCVD films, but there are a handful of very good films you're missing out on.

I have seen parts of others on TV plus the usual clips that you see online, so am not a complete JCVD virgin (Bloodsport, Street Fighter, Timecop to name a few) and I honestly just couldn't take to them.

I'm not really a big action film fan though, and unlike horror where I can still get a lot out of a bad, cheesy horror film with terrible acting I just can't seem to do the same with action films, for the most part. This is why the love for 'stars' such as Chuck Norris, Dolph, Seagal, Stallone, and Van Damme completely sails over my head. Ironically, Arnie is the exception to this rule and I actually enjoy a great deal of his films - cheese and all!

Each to their own though.

If you ever decide to take the chance on one make it Universal Soldier. A very good sci-fi action film.

I would've said Kickboxer, purely for the bar scene!

Kickboxer Bar Scene - YouTube
Kickboxer's just an action film though. My choice kinda mixes in a Robocop style theme to the action.
