Like you say, Van Damme doesn't have a huge part in either, but Adkins carries Day of Reckoning, and the fight scenes are incredible, especially the one in the sporting goods store.

I thought Double Team was awful, but it has been a long time since I've seen it. I only watched it because I'm a big fan of Mickey Rourke... he looked terrible in that. I haven't seen Knock Off.

Much like early Seagal, I have a fondness for early Van Damme, as it's part of my childhood. But I haven't really followed his career since the mid-'90s.

Both are are cartoons really. KO is 'about' counterfeit jeans
Rourke is hilarious in DT. Why he's never played a Bond villian ....

Love 'em both. Can't go wrong with a film (Knock Off), where Van Damme is taking part in a race, pulling Rob Schneider around in a rickshaw, whilst Rob whips his arse to make him go faster!

Death Warrant (1990, Deran Sarafin)

Well, swallow my soul ... a prison flick . Not as grimly fiendish as In Hell ... but don't let that put you off. JCVD goes under the cover of demin in this sliiightly homoerotic jamboree. Or is it that the sight of half naked men knocking the strife out of each other turns me on??? *not meant in any misconducty way ... ahem.

I DIGRESS
To think that next came Double Team . There is a female .... so there is the shagging ... they ... don't get on at first
Lots of second tier faces abound in the background. I'm nae feeling it though. Rewatch when dry methinks ....

Wake Of Death (2004, Philippe Martinez)

JCVD looks awfully unhappy for the majority of this movie. No wonder, when naughty heroin dealers inadvertently kill his beloved. Featuring one of the stranger dissolves that I have seen in a while, this has the lot ... kicking, car chases, a great bike jump etc. Recommended!!

Cyborg (1989, Albert Pyun)

Sadly the shitey version, this was their second choice ala babysitting cough.
Ahem.
JCVD escorts hotties through varied poapoc scenarios with varying degrees of assault . And it's a Cannon movie
The flashbacks that illuminate his pain explain why he looketh most constipated during thy majority of the running time
