Finally got round to watching this superb Aussie disc.

With it's tongue firmly planted in it's cheek, non stop action and Lazenby hamming it up as the big bad baddie, this film once again proves that Trenchard-Smith was one of the most entertaini9ng trash director's ever to emerge from A Land Down Under.....I ain't seen a disappointing film from him yet.

B-T-S-we salute you mate!

Also nice to see the Toecutter as a cop in this one!

And there's people who think SHAFT had a cool theme song?

I bought the 2 disc set from Oz last week via eBay - so it's still in the post, but can't wait to watch it. Even more looking forward to the commentary track.

I love The Man From Hong Kong - one of my favourite all action films.
It's just a perfect exploitation film which doesn't stop for breath.
The stunts are rough and ready which give them an exciting feel, especially the chase between Wang Yu and stuntman Grant Page and George Lazenby's comeuppance is hilarious.
My favourite Brian Trenchard-Smith film, recommended to all.
