Default The Arnie thread

I'm more of a Sly fan myself, but no serious action discussion can take place without including the "Austrian Oak"

After just re-watching "Raw Deal" yesterday after what seems to be a life time, I was just wondering which would be your faves among the lesser appreciated/popular Schwarzenegger actioners?

Though I have something of a soft spot for "End of Days", which reminds me of Argento's "Mother of Tears" for some irrational reason, I'd probably vote for "Eraser" thanks to its class act lead villain, played by James Caan.

any Arnie fans who like their metal should check out a band called Austrian Death Machine. All their songs are based on Arnie films

heres a link to their song 'Get to the Choppa!'

With the exception of Ahnold's comedies such as Twins, etc,I love ALL of his actioners.RED HEAT is one of my faves.Obviously THE TERMINATOR is a classic.
ERASER is great too,as long as you've got the region 1 disc. The r2 disc as I recall was a joke.
I thoroughy enjoyed END OF DAYS,in fact I think I'll give it another whirl tonight!
The big man is wasted on politics.

Again, as with many of the Seagal movies, Warner chopped "Eraser", this time for its 15 cert home release on VHS and DVD. The cinema run was apparently uncut and "18".
Virtually all the other R2s of "Eraser"- even the German disc for once- are actually uncut.

I'd have to say that the first "Conan" film is my favourite Arne film though I do have a soft spot for "End of Days"

It may not be the popular choice but Last Action Hero always cracks me up, it's great!

"You wanna be a farmer? Here's a couple of achers!" *kicks guy in the balls*

For sheer action, Predator gets my vote.
