Hi guys, new here. Am thinking about getting the eureka LWAC set even though i havent seen a single one. I know they're filled with violent samurai action with gushing blood and all so i'm thinking, do these movies get repititve after, say, watching 2 or 3 of them in a row or watching all the movies in one week or is each movie unique in its own way ?

Thanks in advance

I think it's the third and sixth movies that get a bit daft in parts but the saga remains generally consistently entertaining imo. There is one entry where nothing seems to happen for something like a loooong half hour but i can't recall which one it is. Try tackling two films at a time. Ultimately there's no truly disappointing LWAC outing imo. They're all worth repeated viewings in one way or another.

The Complete Lone Wolf & Cub Boxset [DVD] [1972]: Amazon.co.uk: Tomisaburo Wakayama, Akihiro Tomikawa, Kenji MISUMI, Buichi SAITO, Yoshiyuki KURODA, Robert Houston: Film & TV
This set looks tasty! Is it really as good as the top comments seem to tell? And most importantly: Is it completely uncut?

Yes, the films are uncut One of the best things about the set, is the reversible covers which feature the original Japanese artwork (or the US artwork for Shogun Assassin).

Not one for subtitles anyway!

Would Shogun Assassin be the same without the dodgy dubbing and the Sandra Bernhard voiceover?
