I bought in the past couple of weeks the Argent R2 DVD of Bullet for the General, and I'm pleased with the presentation of the film and the extras, like with Argent Films' R2 DVD of Django.

Some questions on the aforementioned films released by Argent Films:

1.) Did Franco Nero only play Django once?

2.) How many Django films were made?

3.) Was Bullet for the General the only film in which Gia Maria Volente played a kind of good guy/character?

There were only two official ones and tons of un-official ones a bit like there being tons of un-official Black Emanuelle sequels to the series which had about 7 official ones.

The Argent release of Battle of Algiers is superb. One of my favourite non Horror movies of all time .
Kudos to Argent for putting this classic out in the UK.

Apparently the best version of Battle of Algiers to get is The 3-disc Criterion Collection according to DVD Compare that is english friendly.

Here is a link for the 2 disc limited edition of Django (US Amazon)

Amazon.com: Django (2-Disc Limited Edition): *: Movies & TV

or if you want Blu-Ray the here is a link for the Blue Underground Blu-Ray, which has all the extras from the limited edition 2 disc dvd, but you need to have a multi-region Blu-Ray Player to beable to play this as it is US region A only.

Django (Sub Dts) [Blu-ray] [1966] [US Import]: Amazon.co.uk: Franco Nero: DVD
