I'm undecided over whether to buy the R2 Argent Films release of the Franco Nero film Django. I've checked on DVD Compare and they say the Region 0 Blue Underground release is the one to get, for the best picture.

Aside from a few instanses of print damage in the first 20 or so minutes the pq on the Argent release is very good.

I think it might have more extras than the Blue Underground R0 disc (based on the DVD extras list on Play.com and comparing it to the list on DVD Compare).

I saw bits of Django a couple of nights ago on Sky. The picture had black bars down the left and right sides of the screen as well, just like when the BBC show Theatre of Blood (1973).

The Argent release of Bullet for the General definitely has more extras than the BU release.

The Blue Underground Django has a bonus disc of the Franco Nero short - THE LAST PISTOLERO. So it's worth getting alone for that, I do think that was a limited edition though.

Bought the Argent disc of Django in HMV this week. It's tricky trying to find the limited edition Blue Underground disc on eBay as there are that many different listings to look at.
