Selling/Tradiing Arrow DVD/BluRay Condition

Bit of random question but I was wondering if the damage to the corner of my Battle Royale boxset case would bring its value down, if say i was selling/trading it. Note all the inserts and other corners of the case are in immaculate condition.

Is it the DVD edition?

Yep

Anyone?

It could. Some people might try to get you to part with it for less money because of the bashed corner.

Mr. Oven

Put yourself in the shoes of the person buying the item

I'm sure that you would want the best quality on offer, at the lowest price

Agreed.

Is there any way of fixing it. And when you guys say some people, u dont mean everyone right?.

Buboven 5th December 2012 05:54 PM

I have Arrows BluRay of Battle Royale aswell, so could that make up for the minimal damage on the DVD Boxset if I sold them together.

Stephen@Cult Labs 5th December 2012 05:58 PM

Not sure if there's any way of fixing it, and again, adding the blu-ray will just depend on the person. Some people won't mind that the box is a little damaged at the corner. Guess it just depends on how much someone wants one of the boxsets.

Fixing it is probably not the best idea, sine most collectors will want things in unaltered condition. Best to sell as is and be honest about the condition. The blu could probably be sold seperately for more in the long run than they both would be sold together.

How much do u guys think the Zombie Flesh Eaters will be worth compared to this DVD Boxset?, since it is limited 2 500 copies instead of 5000.

fuzzymctiger 5th December 2012 09:26 PM

How much you planning on selling the blu ray box for? Or the DVD?

Buboven 5th December 2012 09:34 PM

I dont plan on selling either the Battle Royale DVD boxset or ZFE in the near future, just wondering what is ZFE's value compared to BR for very much future reference.

I think it'll be pretty high, but not as high at Battle Royale, as the Battle Royale was a much higher price in the first place. I also think due to limited numbers it'll be much harder to find a ZFE slipcase for sale.

Ergo rarer, ergo more valuable no?

rarer, to find a slip case because there is a very limited amount of ones with the slip case. As for Battle Royale, I think the DVDs were limited to less than the Blu-Rays and with there being a rather large community of DVD collectors, the better the quality, the higher the price people will pay.
